hye guys, im gonna get a new rig for internet purpose only.
i need your guide, my buget RM1600 for complete set including 17'' LCD

should around 1.6k
if less than 1.6k than use the rest money to top up for 19 inch lcd

i live at jb. really hard to find biostar mobo.
any other mobos brand that would be recommended?

that one got. RM 220 only

xtually, im confused which proc should i choose for internet purpose only,

either C2D E4500 = RM400
Pentium E2140 = RM220
AMD X2 4000+ = RM 215

help me choosing the best proc for INTERNET purpose only.
maybe u can range this 3 proc which one come first (performance)

how bout pentium E2140 n AMD X2 4000+
these 2 proc are cheap n does not differ much in price
which one much perform 4 internet purpose only....

yalo... so with ur budget, it's better to go for amd... with better build in graphic... bcos c2d mobo is dam ex and without build in graphic... even if there's a build in, they sux...

HDD can get a bigger one.And PSU no need so good..350W enough for onboard graphics

4000+ higher perfomance than E2+++ which is cut down edition.

i would recommend that the psu to be that 400w for future expansions...

yup..i agree with fcuk90. Abit NF-M2S is ok...u can also perform decent oc with it....even u only use it for internet. Go for:

AMD X2 4000+ = rm210
Abit NF-M2S = rm150
2 X 1GB DDR2 667 = rm130
250GB SATA2 hdd = Rm210
DVDRW sata = 110
ATX casing + 450W PSU = rm80
19" LCD = rm650

Should be rm1540...d rest for k/b and mouse. With this setup...u can OC your proc to 2.6 - 2.8ghz by changing FSB only.

Internet anything can but intel is better since intel consume less power,run cooler so can run passive cool(Unplug the fan) so less noise also.

Abit LG95C or something like that(945GC)
1GB ram
DVD-RW
250GB SATA
Acbel 390W PSU
Any casing
17 or 19" LCD

Since you don't game or bench,don't need those high end fancy hardware.
