Hey there! I'm looking for some song suggestions for my school's Sport's Day Gymrama. It's an inter-house competition held annually. This year my house(green) may be doing our theme which is army-style. Means maybe we have ppl carrying toy rifles/long guns and guys holding big army flags etcetc.. and we do synchronized movements together..

Does anyone have any suggestions for songs? we are allowed to edit or cut the songs.. so maybe we can use a cool intro and follow up with something more upbeat and catchy, but the beat must be clear and consistent so we can plan the movements more easily.. Oh and, songs with lyrics are not allowed. If maybe 1 or 2 words should be ok la.. but not like those normal hiphop songs with a lot of rap/lyrics..

Any suggestions would be helpful.. Thanks! biggrin.gif

is there a particular hiphop song that you think is suitable? you can actually find the beats to most hiphop songs on the internet which come without the vocal verses. these are called instrumentals.

but for most hiphop songs I have.. the instrumentals aren't that fascinating or upbeat.. we're going army-theme, means it needs to be a bit more serious,rigid, yet energetic and spiritful. I had someone give me suggestions like funtwo's canon rock.. but to me only the intro and a bit more is suitable, maybe halfway we'll have to put in another song.. it's tempo is too fast anyways.. hard to keep up for long.

@funnyTONE

haha it's ok =p I'll give a listen to these songs and maybe it'll give me some inspiration on what i want.. haha. Thanks!

@irkuysm

what's harmony sound? well thing is.. we're doing this gymrama thing on a field, so when u march, the grass ade dampen the marching sound.. means we have to stomp loud loud. Oh we're not gonna kawad kaki all the way throughout the song la.. haha. coz this is just a theme, we will do more of formations actually..
