PETALING JAYA: Sapuracrest Petroleum Bhd posted net profit of RM78.36mil for the financial year ended Jan 31, 2008 from a net loss of RM17.70mil a year ago.

It said Wednesday that the turnaround was due to its pipelines and installation, drilling, operations and maintenance businesses. Revenue rose 28% to RM2.26bil from RM1.76bil. Earnings per share was 7.49 sen.

It recommended a first and final gross dividend of two sen per share.
