Hey there... I'm a playstation fan but it seems that wii looks much more funner in a lot of sides =.= ..... i'm a super final fantasy fan but.... ah well made up my mind for wii...

Is it too late for me to buy wii? how much does it cost and where is the best place to buy? what would be the package? how much the game would cost?

Jap Wii around RM12++
US Wii around RM16++

Recommend getting US Wii if intend to play American games. Not all American games supported on Jap Wii if you use modchip. Examples, Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn, Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3.
And certain American games display Jap content on Jap Wii.
Examples, Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles and Trauma Center New Blood.

Wii can be semi-bricked if updating using games from other region. updating online is the most dangerous as it can fully brick. (unusable)

i was a late Wii buyer too ie. no more modded US wii by then, but having a non-modded Wii isn't that bad after all because i hardly have time to play every game out there anyways so buying a new game every few months isn't that much of a strain on the wallet.....

it's all about the mentality...do you want to play & sample every game out there like the ps2/psp or would you rather just play what you like and get the most out of it?
in short, i didn't regret purchasing a Wii, i only wish i got it sooner so i could play all the GC games i always wanted to play before the flood of quality Wii titles arrived. what are you waiting for ?!?!

crazy...like that i rather buy at singapore about $400 with games.
beside ps3 come first than Wii. All good games about to release soon on ps3.
America selling Wii much much much cheaper than ps3.

16++ is more like a modded wii price..ori for us ver is only between 1200-1400. probally is 1400. Eventhou gud games r cuming out in ps3 but is not easy 2 get those game in our country unless all in jap and need 2 wait 4 d eng. I would rather wait 4 d modded ps3 cause der is 2 much game in ps3. Impossible 2 buy everything ori cause is 2 costy..think of it..blueray is more costly den normal dvd. Thats y ps3 sale in d world is droping. ps3 price keep on droping from 1st came out 28++ den now 18++ or less. Wii and xbox price r keep raising. In europe, Wii is out of stock. Tats y Wii price is getting expensive.

i like japanese games. i can read some of the hiragana, so there no problem for me to play those games. last november, i was at america and i went to this outlet(cause most of the shop at america not in the big shopping mall) saw quite some people queuing to buy Wii. mostly of them are chinese. WEIRD. it seem stupid that i ask my aunt to buy me the first release PS3 in japan. i should wait for the price gone down first. lolz. well that stupid.
Nintendo Wii is the second best in my list. everyone should get one including me(i'm getting it for free, hehehe before chinese new year) the games are cool enough to play wi-fi with everyone!

too true, too true.....the nice thing about the Wii is that Nintendo differentiate it away from HD-consoles like PS3 and XBOX360 so if you got one of those consoles, you can still get the Wii for a different experience (unlike PS3/X360 where the same games are likely to appear on both consoles).

like me, i plan to get a PS3 in due time but the Wii will do just nicely for now....

and since i'm a fan of third party games more than Nintendo first-party games, i would recommend that you get capcom's zack and wiki.....

currently the nice games that i hv exp are wii sport, bleach, dragonball meteorXXX, metal slug, nba2008 and etc....
wii sport, no need to mention so much, the most famous in wii
bleach, quite fun when playing with frens, when see all of us shaking and moving our hands hardly to combo skill.
dragonball same with bleach, but so many characters, it is a good news for dragon ball fans like me.
