I can also dream about getting a BMW 6-series but we know both our dreams won't come true anytime soon brows.gif

The best Steve will announce is the 16GB iPhone and a new firmware.

I heard that it'll be MBP, 12" with Flash Memory or something like that. It certainly won't be MB I think as MB always follow its pre-successor - MBP. Furthermore, APL has just recently updated MB.

MBP stuff in 12"? biggrin.gif Don't get fck up if it didn't happen.

And seriously, if it happen to be ultra-portable laptop, the spec wil be lower than MB (macbook). Don't need to mention about MBP. Why? When smaller and portable, it need low-power processor and everything must be LOW LOW LOW power. laugh.gif So basically you will get a strip-down version macbook in 12" if it happen to be ultra portable. It might use Pentium M processor. whistling.gif

Price? It will be similar as MBP. If you do survey the normal 12" laptop or ultra-portable laptop, the price is very very HIGH. cheers wink.gif

announce only, then what?

let's see the pricing first. ultimately it's the pricing that decides whether consumers here buy their stuff.

A lot of us are dreaming about the 3G iPhone. tongue.gif

I wish there will be upgrade for ACD.

I think that MBP it is time for an upgrade but it will not be 12", that is way too small for professional line range. In professional line, it requires a big screen to work so that is why you will not see MBP in 13.3". So, quite impossible. I guess.

Ultra-portable..hmmm...power charging over wireless.

I disagree. Not much sense in making a ultraportable beyond the 13" screen size.

I'm intrigued by the rumored dockable aspect of the new mac ultraportables. I dunno if you guys remember the PowerBook Duo. I had a Duo 2300c. To me, that is still is the sexiest PowerBook I've ever owned. Sold it to Shah of Apple Malaysia but wish I kept it instead.... sad.gif

Easily solved by a the rumored dock ( or even by using the standard monitor-out port ) .

Point is: Given the ubiquity of desktop computers; it's necessary now to put portability ahead of making another desktop replacement.

Here's what I saw from CNBC. Ipod touch will be increased its production, a 3G iPhone will be released at around May/June. a sub-portable 12" MBP which is 50% thinner with flash memory HD.
