first of all,i only like to play games.and that the down side i dont know how to buy a custom made pc. tongue.gif

my budget is only rm 2800 for a p.c.monitor excluded. My friends recomended me to buy nvidia 8800gt graphic card and a good motherboard
that can be upgrade to quad core and have good overclocking ability.

i thinking of using e6550 C2D,a future ready motherboard and nvidia 8800gt as a must item to have.is it possible? rclxm9.gif

help me give the specs with my budget and maybe suggest the place to go to in Low Yat Plaza.if you can help me please sent email comment a.s.a.p because i want to buy a.s.a.p

wait for the intel 45nm chips if u can...soon to b released e8-k or e9-k series. they better n price almost similar(eg.e8200 to e6550),2gb ram is must,p35 or nvidia 650i,680i mobo,250gb+HDD,many r speculating dat the 3870 will beat the 8800gt after it gets a few driver updates...i personally will choose the 3870 (juz my opinion),17' or 19' lcd,500+W psu...bla bla rest of it doesnt need much consideration...just my 2c smile.gif

if u goin for intel proc and intel based chipset mobo, getting a AIT 3870 is a good choice, u can go crossfire anytime u want......

btw 3870 has a better cooler, that the advantage, no hassle of changing cooler compare to reference dcesign 8800GT, wise 8800GT is a better performer on average

if u can spent a bit more on PSU, get a mushkin modular u plan to do case modding, else Silverstone St500 (i dunno the model name) would do just fine as well.
