yes, auto adjusted down, lets say, 2 cents dividend, then on ex-date, your share opening price wud be lower by 2 cents from yesterday's closing price.

Seems like market will be opened a bit flat to slight higher.

May be until next week, we only probably will see the real face of the market.

No news. If nothing comes out then they will proceed with the initial proposal.
But having said that, the 'culture' here tends to have last minute thought one or changing mind one.     

Btw, I believe the real face of the market only will be revealed after 2 Jan.
Currently nobody or less people want to do anything about it. I myself is in the 'process' of round off all current holding to make it more 'tradeable' to avoid the RM40 min next year. eg. holding of 7k make it 10K lots like that, or those 1K, 2k lot one, make it sizeable a bit. 

Actually the new commission system make all commission become negotiable, there is no min standard like online trade of 0.42% currently, it is fully negotiable between investors and the investment house, means that for sizeable volume traders or investors, they are actually can save more.

Currently several new measures, including the new dividend and new commission system are benefitting the super-rich one while punishing the small retailers or less wealthy one.

OMG.... u mean to say that fees $40 charges applied, no matter how much u buys n sells.
