how's your portfolio performance today? Mine is marginally positive.
Sometimes I wonder why I use up so much energy to trade with losses, could have spent the losses amount instead.

a lot of downgrades, plus oil price is coming down...and generally sentiment remains poor...and i think they're waiting for poor data coming out towards end of the week before going in in anticipation of a rate-cut rally next week

I'm new to CW actually.

How does the given premium affects the CWs? Will the premium change daily?

They are issuing warrants soon I think for their share that will dilute the holdings. Here is an excerpt from OSK:

RENOUNCEABLE RIGHTS ISSUE OF UP TO 151,800,000 NEW ORDINARY SHARES OF RM0.50 EACH (?RIGHTS SHARE(S)?) IN DPS RESOURCES BERHAD ("DPS") ON THE BASIS OF ONE (1) RIGHTS SHARE FOR EVERY ONE (1) EXISTING ORDINARY SHARE OF RM0.50 EACH HELD IN DPS TOGETHER WITH UP TO 75,900,000 FREE DETACHABLE WARRANTS (?WARRANT(S)?) ON THE BASIS OF ONE (1) FREE WARRANT FOR EVERY TWO (2) RIGHTS SHARES SUBSCRIBED (?RIGHTS ISSUE?)

So things aren't always what they seem on the surface, I've said this before, the market is quite efficient in compensating for all this. So try to dig deeper like you are doing now to get to the bottom of something you find amiss.

What it means is, they will be issuing new shares soon. The rights issue which is given or sold to their shareholders basically gives the person who hold the 'rights' to actually buy the new shares at a discounted price.

From the statement, it says they are issuing 150 mil new shares. Thats about 100% increase in total shares. So just imagine the EPS is a cake, instead of 10 people sharing it, it will be 20 people sharing the same cake once the shares are issued.

So thats why the price looks kind of attractive because people have already taken the new shares into account and aren't going to pay more for the counter because it wouldn't be worth it once the new shares hit the market. Thats what I meant by the market being efficient.

Based on my experience... which is not much tongue.gif

how is the prospect of day trading in klse??
Day trading possible if u enter at the right time & right counter.
is day trading in klse restricted to certain rules??
no restriction except u are not allowed to do short selling as far as I know.
if invest more than 4-5 times in a week in klse, is one going to be classified as a pattern day trader which require them to hv $25k in his/her account....
I'm using RHBInvest to do online daily trading and they don't care how much I have in my account as long as I trade within my limit.
is it possible to purchase and sell a stock within 10-20 seconds in klse???
Never try this before, within few minutes maybe possible but the fastest transaction I've done is within half hours. Maybe you can try it biggrin.gif

Pls correct me if I mentioned any wrong info...
