Second set doesn't mention brands/models very hard to compare.

If just compare like this, first set using AMD X2, second set using only P4/Athlon 64, so first set is better.

ur suggestions are good, except the bolded parts which could be a little better

Mobo: Gigabyte P35 DS3L -rm310 ( around there la)

Ram: get either mushkin or team DDR667 Rams, for the 6 layer brainpower PCB as well as u will never utilize more then 667mhz rams if you do not OC beyond 450fsb

GC: x1950gt/pro/xt get from LYN garage zone la, rm300 +/- rm80 or so only mar, no point buying a new unit, and btw, it eats and shits out 8600gt/GTS and hd2600xt/pro, so dont bother with them.

PSU, get a silverstone st400 (for cheapskates with a budget), st50f (good psu leh) , st56f ( ur best bet)

AVOID SET #2 at all cost

here's why.........
1. P4 / Athlon64 motherboards, meaning you're using a really OLD board, probably they're clearing stock. if you go AMD path, damn already lor stuck with S939 / S754. if lucky you still get AM2 board la but then i don't think so lor if they level it same as P4 board, or unless they're clueless what's the difference between INTEL (brand) and Pentium 4 (processor range)

2. 2GB DDR2 RAM, what speed? no say, bad. means they can give you anything.

3. 256MB display card. haha. I can give you Radeon X800GT or 6600GT, or even some FX5200 - still 256MB what. again. bad. means they can give you any crap as long as 256MB.

ok la. those 3 points cukup to seal the case.

i think Crysis is overhyped and probably a graphic engine that's not optimized.
