anyone know abt the MYVI FACELIFT ah.
last weeks neaspaper had write there this year which company have new/facelift car come out.
Perodua will launch Replacement Kembara at Q2 & Myvi Facelift at Q3. anyone know ah? smile.gif
*
I read about this on ysday the star during the interview of the current MD of perodua. He revealed that there are plans for perodua to release a new sets of bodykits, as he is suprised that alot of myvi owners loved to mod bodykits for their ride. Also since the car is in a midlife (if follows japanese car style, facelifted is needed in at least 2 yrs) it is time for a facelift, or possibility a 1.5 engine will be introduced.

More amusingly is he revealed that although he drives the lexus LS460 to work or for business, he prefers to drive the myvi to go dinner as its easier to drive and park in cities. Another amusing story he shares is once he was in a LS460 to a business function to a hotel, and when the doorbell opened the passenger door to greet the passenger, he asked the driver where is the VIP/Guest. The driver replied: "I'am" sweat.gif

Haha why got ppl wanna sue u for putting 15 inch? Mine also uses 15 inch wheels, its okay and FC didnt effect much, but actually i felt my ride should look better with 16 inch. sweat.gif

ellop....guys...wat suitable spring for my vv wit 16"rim...wat the price..can i get it under 250 or somthg.....btw is it illegal we spray front hood to other color(black for white myvi)........???
*
Rather get a spring which is reputational, so in this case, get either eibach or tanabe. However, its pretty much impossible to get under 250, even u cant get that on a 2nd hand ones. wink.gif

16 is nice but if u wan more comfort then take 195/50/16 lo~
i think either tanabe/eibach will b good for tight budget for performance but not 100%
*
Eibach is perhaps the most expensive of all springs for myvi at RM800 but it also one of the best coz it doesn't compromise on comfort. Tanabe is not so expensive but also quite a good spring, although one of the lowest as well.

Cheaper alternatives including GAB, panther and many more unheard brands, but as i using GAB now, i personally dont recommend one.

Myvi domination will come to the end by the new saga. But still i believe myvi will still easily tops the top 5 best selling cars in mysia.

guess P2 also wont just sit there doing nothing....

let's expect better model to come out...

V..

A myvi facelift is scheduled for this year as well. But if u asked me if i going to hunt for a 1.3 new car, i will go for the myvi rather than the saga despite the attractive pricing on the saga. But if i look wider, i rather go for the persona. wink.gif

Sad to hear that koki, make sure u claim the insurance... It's there for a reason tongue.gif
Keep us posted on where u get it done...
BTW, K&N filters, if drop in without any other mods, helps with engine efficiency?
*
The myvi's engine is quite reliable already, so i suggest u maintain it properly like go for regular sevicing to improves engine lifespan and efficiency.

I been using eneos eco touring for my 15k km service since and i been clocking 37k km and my FC has improved ever since. Now i can clock 14km/l easily if i driving long distance, and 13.5km/l ++ if i driving to work.

I think its a good alternative comparing with the engine oil frm the SC, and actually u dont need to change every 5k km. I changed every 8k km, and since its semi synthetic its better to change not more than 10k km.

Well for now my myvi can easily go RM60 for 400++ km and sometimes i can achieve RM50-55 for 400km++. Ur FC will be better once ur car is in 30k km mileage, provided u use a good engine oil as well smile.gif
