Aiya, no problemlah. I already decided to channel from normal myvi to SE. Paso and trd not nice lor. I dunno but my eyes say buruk lor  sad.gif . So i go for 100% se body kit. Then adjust eksors (Head filter change) and taking lenso white color for a change (15 x 7j). Suitable tyre as big boss say 195/55R15 is the best. Energy XM1 Michelin 195/55R15. hehehe Then change spring eclip. A little bit touch up and kautim lor. I guess  tongue.gif

Btw, anyone know where to get lenso rim?
*
the whole jln kapar, klang selling lenso.........if u want recommendation....go Ban hooi tyre shop.

if i were to change my tyre i would get the bridgestone adrenalin, but heard that the price is quite high for 195/50/R15 near Rm300 like that..
*
Yes....that is the price. But u need to order early as many shop even in klang don't keep stock. But again adrenalin still quite expensive now no worth buying. If u would like really performance tyre u can try Falken Azenis ST115 cheaper than adrenalin.

bro u better don't lower ur car.....ur tyre size confirm will hit fender if u lowered. For 16" tyre u should take 45 series and not 50 series. Anyway, both spring have many complain.

can feel any big differences after installing the sound proof material?? realise myvi sound proof not reli gd ler (mayb bcoz i always sit japanese cars since young)... not rugi wert if got big differences coz if after getting the car d like us, wanna do sound proofing oso sayang, hav 2 take out the car components summore...
*
Sound proof material.....???? u mean at the superlon that stick at the bonet 1? Stick it .....it will reduce the engine noise. Those expensive car had sound proof material stick at the door, pillar, and floor. While our car , i mean all local car is like an empty milo tin. No sound proof material.

I would recommend to do sound proofing on 4 door, boot door and spare tyre area.

any idea how much will it cost to do the sound proofing like u recommended (on the 4 door, boot door and spare tyre) and also the bonnet wan?? but 1 thing worry me is that they nd 2 take out the panels and stuff lidat rite, after that dunno dey can fix it properly like wat it use 2 b when it's original...
*
It's all depend on what material u wan to use or depend on the brand of sound proof stuff. Brand like Dynamat is very costly. For 4 door double layer sound proof with dynamat will cost u around 700-1000 depend on what shop u go. Don't know how to fix back???? those panel is just plug and play stuff......very easy 1. I recommend u go those famous Audio shop like ACP, KK LAU, Auto Gadget to do it. They can give u advice and can mix around with other brand which can lower ur cost.

If u are on budget u can also surf in ZTH or LYN auto sales section......there is someone selling those stuff and giving installation services.

Hi guys, im new here, also a myvi owner.

WTA, anyone changed their drop in air filter to K&N?

How does it feels? and anyone modded the hose too?

Thanks!
*
Yup. I had done both. K&N drop in and CAI hose. Engine more responsive. Low end torgue is better.

what for. i love to hear the soundless engine
*
Bro, do have any idea about the filter or not.......well drop in won't increase ur engine sound la. Even Open Pod also will produce sound when u on high RPM only. Normal drive the sound is just like stock. If u wan soundless engine, sound proof ur bonet and ur firewall.

well cause after on air cond, my vi vi underpower.

So wanna change the air filter, but for the hose i scared if i change will masuk water.
*
Don't worry. Water won't go in so easily. Even u route the CAI hose to the front bumper also water won't go in 1.

Yes. Engine sound reduce a lot.

Retain stock airbox and stock filter. Put in bosch/hella horn somewhere near the bonnet lock vertical metal bar there. Add CAI to suck cold air in from the hole left by the stock horn.
*
TBH with u......if u retain stock filter......then no need CAI. No point. With CAI alone there is no improvement of Air flow because stock filter is not high flow filter. The amount of air goes into throttle body is still the same. Hence no improve in engine response. It is a combination of stuff to get the max result.

Keep us posted on where u get it done...
BTW, K&N filters, if drop in without any other mods, helps with engine efficiency?
*
High Flow or performance Drop In Filter is to help in low end rpm power.......make ur engine more responsive. Efficiency is how u take care ur car.

Car will underpowered or not......it is depend on the rim weight and size. Try to pick the most light 1 as possible.

I personally using 16" 205/45/16......car power still the same when on 14".

*
Generally all tyre lifespan is 40k km. But some tyre can last u damn long like stupid sime tyre......haha. What is ur ori tyres? If u using NCT5 then 40k km is max......even u reach 20k km the noise is very loud.

speaking of problem, im sure you guys experience when brake that time from about 90 km/h your myvi steering will shake?

anyone fix this before?
*
er.......then u should go claim a new disc brake. It is wrapped. This problem is an issue for MYvi which can't be solve by p2. The only way to solve it is to change the whole brake to better like honda ek brake and toyota AE101 brake.

Hi guys,

Just bought a new MyVi ... White colour... Problem is i realise it gets dirty very quicky.... not with dirt... but black oil.... i guess it is the buses and lorries around.... i see many white MyVi has this problem.... Black oil all around the car.... and it is darn hard to get out....

Any advice on how to mantain it better? Waxing? So that the black oil don't stick so easily..

Is this a "white" Myvi problem? cause i don't see other cars, even the kelisa... not really have this tendency to have black oil stains....
*
U can remove it by using a claybar or polish. There is nothing that u can put on the prevent those black oil to stick la. It is all depend on where u drive u car.
