if u been sometimes not doing alignment and balancing, then its time to do so since u said got feel ur steering pull to one side. for me, i do my alignment and balancing once every 6 mnth. or if serious like u said pull to one side (apply to all the road as some road usually is designed to be a degree lower to left as to avoid water from stattionary on the road) then better go and do so.
even u hit a big patholes also will cause ur alignment out and if serious, dented ur rim.
