QUOTE(LadiesBabes @ Feb 26 2008, 02:56 AM) OmG!! I need help~ I don't know whether correct method or not, if you don't want your dog to bite/bark, just hold firmly (not too tight) on its mouth using your hand (palm + fingers). Then look into his eyes, and say NO couple of times. Repeat a few times. My vet (UPM grad) teaches us this method.Cash learn how to bark d~ =.=" I try to scold him, he bark even louder ><"" Can someone teach me how to train him? He even know how to jump down from the chair ><"" So noty!!! haha^^ Somehow, it works. Nowadays, when we say NO, 60% of the time, the dog will not do it. |

Anyone knows where to buy electric-trimmer to DIY trim my poodle fur at reasonable price ?
I have one, but recently spoil already. The trimmer is specific for animals (dogs) as it can trim dogs hair which is finer/thinner than human hair. Cannot use human trimmer. It saves a lot to DIY trim every 1-2 weekends, it's paws, mouth and backside. Only send to grooming once in 4-6 mths. PM me... |

QUOTE(sinv @ Apr 18 2008, 11:00 AM) If you are familiar with pet shop or vet, normally they have free samples in small packets, good enough for 1-2 meals. Ask for different brands and flavour to try whether your dog is comfortable with it.Mine does not like Science Diet. |

It takes time and patience to toilet train. Our poodle took regular training and ~1 month for it to learn. Also bought plenty of toilet paper from hypermarket. Nowadays, it still get naughty and try to pee on some objects if we don't monitor it properly.
But once we know the schedule and trained it, it always run to the toilet and pee. Big business nowadays is shifting from newspaper on the floor to toilet also by itself. We didn't train to poo in toilet, but nowadays it doesn't want to poo on newspaper, but rather run into toilet. |

QUOTE(jChin @ May 13 2008, 05:30 PM) This is another picture of Lucky. Lucky is a female. She loves to hide under my bed Puppies like to sleep. It's normal. ![]() Lucky is going to be 3 months old next week. Just got her yesterday, I got very little experience with small breed dogs and I found that she sleeps all the time. Is it normal or is there anything that I should take note? Also, dogs like to rest with something over their head above, and preferably left, right and back is covered (dead end). They feel more safe and secure to monitor front only. Mine likes to hide under the sofa set and also under the bed if we bring him upstairs. If block all, he is willing to hide/rest inside the "pet transport box" Mine is 3.5 yrs old already |
