Microsoft Already Working on Game For Next Xbox?
EGM's Q-man gets word that Microsoft is already working on its next console.

In the latest issue of EGM, rumor hound Q-man got a really interesting tidbit from a mole at Microsoft: a secret first party sequel is already being worked on for the next Xbox console. According to the magazine, the game was originally planned for the Xbox 360, but was recently moved over to the next Xbox console.

It's not uncommon for platform holders to begin working on new consoles and launch games years before they actually come out, but this could point to the next Xbox console not being that far off.

So what sequel could it be? Hmmm... a new Halo? The next Forza? How about the next Perfect Dark? Oh, or maybe Fable 2? Kidding.

MS ain't stupid. if they were to release a whole new console when the 360's only 2years old, they'll lose their fan base, their investors, etc.

And no, mr xbox 360, this isn't denial. It's simple common sense.

A new sku, maybe. A new controller, very likely. A new console, a definite NO.

Those rumours about a new console frm MS, it's real alright, but it won't be released anytime soon. Like breakthru said, colouring book. It's all about planning. Do you think MS came up with the 360 2 weeks before manufacturing them? They started plannin, developin, researchin right after the original xbox hit the shelves.

fwah when MGS4 comes out i think i'll be quite confident that PS3 sales willl shoot up! sommore if got package deal. I suspect alot of shops will have "no more stock" then! better buy soon.
