I am using ASUS P5K-SE.Currently my motherboard tempreture is averaging 42C.How to reduce the temp some more?Will attaching a fan on top of chipset reduce the tempreture>

OK for me.The processor temp stay at 40C.So will the tempreture reduce if I attach another fan on top of chipset?Another question my friend also using same mobo and his fan speed usually at 4000rpm.Is that normal?

It depents how big is ur casing only....if not u go water cooling on ur chipset lu....If u used Full size Tower casing..... guarantee you no overheat problem......

owh, its pentium D. 40c is quite ok for the processor.

for your friend problem, what processor he is using.?

Same as me.PD 3.0GHz.Later I want to attach 1 fan to see if got temp difference.

 

Change to:
