Nothing. If I'm not mistaken, in Malaysia IMEI number mostly for original phone to cover it's warranty. This is because even we lost our phone, the telco can't lock our phone up using the IMEI number. Malaysia has yet to have that. smile.gif

AP set phone comes with IMEI number that doesn't match the box smile.gif

I might be wrong but I feel the IMEI number has nothing much to do except you can remember all the number and can identify the phone in case your phone gone some days.

Nothing much can do, something like they look at your IC number. yeah, so your IC is 880888-08-0808 but nothing much can do.

Somemore we don't have IMEI Block here. If have, he might report your phone as stolen and block your h/p.
