The vet doing it is the proper way lah..... Tie the tail with a band is more.... painful in a way. You imagine someone tie your finger with a rubber band tightly... do you like that feeling? In a few days, your finger will die, become black and shriveled... then the tissue dries up and snaps off. Many people have stopped doing that since sometimes it can lead to infection.....

Cutting the tail and sewing the wound is the normal procedure done by vets. It will take a few days to heal but it is not as horrible as rubber band....

Why do you want to dock? If you are not gonna show them, or register under MKA, there is no need to dock. In fact, in Europe, they have banned docking. All MS there got tails.

about my LuiLui will not easily accept stranger's treat wan unless she feel the stranger is good or friendly, just know my LuiLui very stick her mum ( my gf )
so if stranger ( my friend ) gave her any treats ..she will just igrone ...
and pretty when saw stranger more happy even didn't give her any treats XDDDD
so no need feel heartbroken lor...but just have to be careful....if friendly dog put outdoor...those thief will aim for it ( that's why so many dognappers aim for those firendly pedigree ) well luckily all Ms owner here let own furkid stay in door . so is very safe ='D

so how about hepy ? hepy will fierce to stranger right ?

my kumi oso geh...if me n her only, she will be very taat to me one..go where ever i go keep follow my footsteps but then once got ppl come, start to play n forgot me...last nite my sister went in to my room then play awhile with her...then once my sis left my room, she cry lagi broken hearted!!!
my room has become paradise for her on the floor full of her bite bite but she still dun satisfy

hehe because your Kumi chan friendly and love people..she know your sister gentle and play with her that's why whine and cry when Kumi saw your sister left .

yea~ my sister too manja her...feed kumi whateva she eat i always ask her not to do so..later kumi become bad manner dog, whenever someone eat then she will approach :| then how can i gain back my master's status?? play more with her??she's too active, i cant play that much with her...haha

oh i see, thanks for the info... their future owner request me to dock their tails, so now i'll tell them do you know how horrible terrible vegetable is it to dock tails? and reason with them lo try to convince them not to do so...

I think you just try your best to tell the future owner of the puppies...not to docked their tail lor...

Hmm some furkid will scare owner use newspaper hit floor ( sounds ) lor .
the method of using voice tune is good enough too , like u say '' aaaaiiiiii '' ..she will be alert when heard you say '' aaaaiiiii '' and stop doing thing that owner dislike.
So if my furkids heard i say '' No '' they will stop doing anything which is owner dislike .

regarding Kumi's tail i think is docked already izzit round and small ?

poodle's tails also dock, if not mistaken.

only bulldogs have very short tails. Sometimes the local street dogs are born with short stubby tails. But most pure breeds have long tails that are sometimes docked.
