I'm opening a flower boutique soon.i've found the perfect location and now the shop is under renovation..in fact I've got an interior designer to do it up biggrin.gif

I've set up most of the things which I'm supposed to in order to open a flower shop.

my services includes car decoration for weddings , flower arrangements for all occasions , loose flowers and more...

I'm hoping you could give me more ideas to be added into my boutique besides the ones i've mentioned...

Thanks!

Maybe have a small book cabinet to put in albums about flowers and decorations....a small landscape corner would be nice. Nothing fancy, mayb a small pond, or an island that you put picture frames added with spotlights. happy.gif

Got any specific theme for your shop?

got a few frames from SSF..looks good.. spotlights are also taken care of..

any idea what can i do besides having car decoration for weddings , flower arrangements for all occasions & loose flowers ?

theme? i just want it to look classy & exquisite.. want it to be like a boutique not like an ordinary flower shop, just for a change.. smile.gif

I think you need more input from Guy cos many Guy come in and want to buy flower, but dunno what flower is what name, so as long as ur label of the flower is clear then OK edi ... maybe link the flower type to its significance if any (like Rose-> Love) and that sorta thing, at least ppls like me go and buy we know what d flower is for, instead of trying to chat up the gal working there ...

No prob.

By the way, Hershey's and Ferrero Rocher are good enough but remember to use Hershey's Kisses! Hehe. Sweet~ thumbup.gif Cadbury is good, too, for lower budget customers. But if you can get mini size Crunchie, better! lol. Got honey inside, so sweet! wub.gif

Gosh. I sound so bimbotic le. doh.gif

And for the mean time, cannot think of anything. tongue.gif But cards are very normal since you need cards to go with the hampers and flowers, right? I mean pretty pretty cards, not those lousy one we always see since you might already be giving that for free. Hee.

Balloons? omg i actually saw a musical balloon on9... shocking.gif
and yes! cards~there's a type where you can record your voice in it but i don't know hw pricey is it

as for CNY i guess there's only hampers? delivery services? but for those self collect hampers i think there'll be a price fight with those kedai ubat laugh.gif

Where? What do you sell? Any discount for LYN? tongue.gif

Might be a good idea to start planning for Valentine as I am sure a lot LYM forumers will be hunting for flowers. It is a good cash-cow period for you.

Sell greeting cards.
Do a blog to showcase all your beautiful bouquets.
Balloon with inside nice teddy bear or other gifts.
Personalize bouquets/flowers?

Online presence is key since you have LYN supporters here. They will open up a lot more possibility for you.

the idea is nice..but if u addd on and be too commercialise ..it aint gonna be good..so ..better stick with basic~ dun add to much or else extra price..
as far as i know..u get the real message thru in flower; with little gift no extravaganza thing..
try to work with budget tat u can work in sweat.gif wub.gif

Sell edible flowers. The English have some of their national dishes cooked with rose petals. I know there's a restaurant in China where all the food cooked are just flowers.

you need pictures of your artwork

many buyers dont know what design of flowers they seeking therefore you need catalog

associate yourself with wine and gift shop . Stock in a few beautiful boxes and decorate it

dont use cheapo greeting cards. Get those with your shopname on it.

any pictures of your artwork?
