I have been having problems with my internet connection these few days, which keeps showing me the self assigned ip address sign. Tried, restarting the router, restarting the airport, now what?

Just wondering if anybody knows how to tackle this issue? Thanks

Do yr laptop got wireless card/adapter are on or enable?? i guess it might be ad hoc on yr laptop connection there...... sweat.gif

try to set ur IP address to static address instead of dynamic address.
