Self Assigned IP Address?, Leopard OS bug?

I have been having problems with my internet connection these few days, which keeps showing me the self assigned ip address sign. Tried, restarting the router, restarting the airport, now what?
Just wondering if anybody knows how to tackle this issue? Thanks |

try to set ur IP address to static address instead of dynamic address.
