using ATI Tool or Riva Tuner to Overclock.
To test their stability, use ATI Tool , or try to run games over 4hours will all max setting. OC will overheat your gc and...burn |

d best is rivatuner...and for monitoring and stability testing...u can use ATI tool. In rivatuner...for optimal oc...u must use d shader overclock...if your card is good, by adjusting shader clock..u can achieve very high performance. U can also use 3dmark in loops for long run testing...especially to find artifacts.

QUOTE(sany1424 @ Jan 1 2008, 04:18 AM) 1. use some software to OC2. as long as it dont crash or burn then will be alright 3. it can burn ur GC, but not that fast, every GC hv somethings like a failed-safe, once it reach certain temp it GC will crash or shutdown restart like that. see this thread be4 u really want to OC >> http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/317047 |

OC void warranty - YES.
however the thing is no one can prove that you did overclock. why no manufacturers come up with some form of protection? well an OCable card does look better than a non-OCable one. |
