As per above topic. I would like to know anyone using Abit or any Abit fanboy know the setting to unlock the bios setting. Frankly speaking, i'm first time user for Abit and already own it for 2 weeks (IP 35-E). Been using MSI and Gigabyte products for quite sometime (both are AMD). . So anyone know about it please let me know. Reasons that i need it is to find any hidden setting especially for overclocking and hardware setting.

So far how many Mhz bus you can go for now?

here is my rig.

Abit-IP35E (latest bios-14 if not mistaken.)
E2140-1.6Ghz@3Ghz (375Mhz using Vcore 3.5V-3.7V)
Patriot 2Gb kit 800Mhz-4-4-4-12 @2T 2.2V
8800GT MSI 512Mb Oc.
560Watt Silverstone.
80GB WD
250GB WD
2x160GB WD(change to 500GB soon).

I can't print screen any screenie cos i'm in office. Using both OCCT and Prime stable for 24 hours.

bro, are you sure 3.5Vcore ? pakai Liquid nitrogen ke ?
Im sorry to tell you, E2140 max bus can reach 430Mhz bus only.

If you wanna taste the power of IP35-E, you may try E6750/6850, can reach 500Mhz bus.

sorry. cos about the VCore i need to check it again. that vcore so high sure gonna make my processor burn. need to check it again when i reach home. so anybody know the bios locking for abit?

Just checked XS forum, seems IP35-E owner there dont have bios problem..

i already tried to to used few combinations like shift+alt with those various F's function pass few days but didn manage to do it lo. Unlike MSI and Gigabyte mobo i knoe the combination to unlocked the bios.

try this combination of the bios locking whether it works or not for your gigabyte cos i also using it but it's AMD base. Enter in bios then press either SHIFT+F1 or ALT+F1. this can unlocked some of the setting. try it and let me know.

It unlock something like...ram timing. for others i dont have check

Er why would u need to unlock the bios?

the bios itself is pretty much complete, with memory timings adjustment etc. If your looking to clock ur CPU higher, The FSB wall will definitely limit ur overclocking first.

what bios are you using? cos sometimes bios also got affected. have you try to drop the multiplier, ram setting?
