I'm not exactly sure what you mean by 'convert it back', but I guess if you tried your Maxis SIM now it should work just fine, because Maxis officially confirmed on the 23rd of November that they had fixed the issue with the iPhone nationwide. wink.gif

If it still doesn't work for you, you could try contacting Maxis and report your area. However, rest assured that they have already fixed the problem almost everywhere in Malaysia, so they should have it working in no time.

1. Can't call out?
2. Can't receive call?
3. SMS in / out?
4. Got signal?
.. and the list will go on

I'm running a 3G Maxis SIM as well, absolutely no problem whatsoever throughout 1.0.2 back then till 1.1.3 now. wink.gif And yeah, it's already been official for 2 months now....

@ mlthum - Install iWorld and select Malaysia, then reboot if you're on 1.1.2. If not, then it must be something wrong with either your firmware or SIM. Try restoring your firmware and re-jailbreaking + activating it, see whether that solves your problem. If not, that only leaves you with the SIM replacement option at your nearest Maxis Centre.
