Plot Summary: In the year 2059, the earth has been plagued by aliens for several years. In an effort to learn more about these aliens, Dr. Noguchi and his assistants Maki Agata and Tukuto Kenishiro try to revive the professor's experiment, a large Bio-Mechanical alien named Frank. During this process the alien comes to 'life' and the lab is subsequently destroyed leaving Takuto the only survivor and the alien disappearing into the wilderness. While Frank roams the wilderness he meets Hattie, an emotionally distressed young girl whose parents are killed in the first 'close encounter' war. Oddly enough she is able to communicate with Frank and soon after they are taken into custody by a secret agency known only as 'Funeral'. Meanwhile, Takuto wakes up in a hospital bed with his life in shambles, and his face disfigured. Motivated by vengeance and heart break, Takuto accepts an offer from the mysterious 'Mr. X' and receives a new identity as a ranking Funeral officer named Ryu Soma.

I just finish the whole series today , and cant find any tread about this anime , so i started one

I like this anime very much , and the ending is good , i would recommend to any action and mecha lover ( PS: This is not a hot blood anime , dont expect something like super robot wars and Gaogaiga , this is more like evagelion , but the story is easy to understand )

It smells like eve a lot , but nicer to me

Simply because i dont understand WTF eve is about , damn confusing.

This anime is lots more easy to understand and the mian Character , Lt Soma is damn cool man , i fed up with hot blood peple like naruto and such , a cool person ( Sometimes he got emotional , but still he is a cool headed person ) is more suitable to be the hero ( He is a hero to me )

No offense to hot blood fans


PS: The little girl dont wear hat after some incident , but still , she is cute when she wear that hat

I like its art , anime nowadays is too emphasize on " big eye" and kid's face

I prefer something more realistic

Yap , at first , every episode is the same , every time is simply " Alien come , fought it , at last , human win " , but after the team know the truth , a big twist takes over and , WOW , the story rocks!!!!
