Hot and unstable Aiya, same old conclusion some more For you in a tight budget, get an AMD. If you go Intel also not much difference will you get. |

AMD used to be warmer than INTEL, but that was like 10years ago? now, the temperature are almost the same, the performance are almost the same, and they are actually pretty good at getting the job done, and if they were to be put next to each other with similar spec, you probably cant notice the difference...
considering your budget, you might wanna venture into the world of AMDs, or get a cheaper INTEL PC by using some other part from old PC or get from fren's useless PC that they dont want. |

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Nowadays AMD comes with "Cool n Quiet" technology, you WONT feel hot anymore. Actually AMD + 2GB RAM very smooth....i can feel that, because i tried my bro comp. AMD is a nice budget for Rm1k-Rm2k even Rm3k. |

should be similar to that of a 2600PRO. based on what i use, ok la can play games on lower res.
as for PSU, even a 2900XT can run on 450w PSU (RealPower la) so the 8800GT would work fine. |
