Someone recommended the Carlton Powerblade 9902 and 9909 as alternatives to my 3U AT500. hmm.gif

Do you carry them? If yes, pm me the price and package.

Thanx. notworthy.gif

Hi zhensheng,

Already bought the Carlton Powerblade 9902 as my backup. So sorry. notworthy.gif

However, I am interested in getting another one. Which of the Apacs Armor Muscle Pro is comparable to the Yonex AT500?

Please PM me your recommendations and the prices with a Karakal PU Supergrip and Yonex BG-66 @ 24lbs.

Can COD at Carrefour, Sri Petaling? sweat.gif

Thanx in advance. rclxms.gif

Here's my belated review (my usual stringer still not around sad.gif , had to use another stringer hmm.gif ) for the Apacs AMP88 (strung @ 24lbs, Yonex BG66):

1. Stiff shaft and medium light head. However, head is heavier than my Carlton 9902.

2. Good smashing power but still not as powerful as my AT500. tongue.gif

3. Great baseline clears, whack it and the shuttle flies.nod.gif

4. Cross-court drops are easy to perform with precision. flex.gif

5. Superb control on net play. rclxms.gif

6. Defensively superb due to great head maneuverability. No half-court returns unless they are off-center. doh.gif

Lent it to my friend (who is a control-based player) for several games and he has nothing but praise for it. biggrin.gif

Heard that my usual stringer went for a ligament operation and will be out for at least one more month cry.gif.

Need to regrip the AMP88 racket again as the substitute stringer did a poor job shakehead.gif.

Lucky, I have an extra Karakal grip. Will wait for my usual stringer for the regrip brows.gif.

Hi zhensheng,

Welcome back....

Just wan to ask a question:

What the difference between the AMP88 (which I aready bought from u) and the AMP90 and AMP95, in terms of feel? sweat.gif
What's the current price and package for both of them?

Btw, do u have the new Apacs Lethal series of rackets? Compared to the AMPs?

Thanx in advance. notworthy.gif

Hi all,

Here's my belated review (after getting it last month from zhensheng and playing with it for several weeks) of the AMP90:

1. Stiff shaft and head-heavy. sweat.gif

2. Great smashing power. As powerful as my old Yonex AT500. tongue.gif

3. Great baseline clears, whack it and the shuttle flies. brows.gif

4. Cross-court drops are easy to perform with precision. laugh.gif

5. Superb control on net play. whistling.gif

6. Superb defense even though it is stiff and head-heavy. rclxm9.gif

Bottomline, I like it better than my old AMP88.

BTW, had strung the AMP90 with BG-66 @ 25lbs and replaced the original grip with a Karakal Super PU.

Thanx zhensheng for selling the AMP series. thumbup.gif

hi guys, i might be interested in buying a new racket.

my budget is around RM150. u guys got any recommendations?

i'm more into smashing but the racket has to be light as well.

how about shuttlecocks? my budget is around RM50. which is the best bang for the buck shuttlecock?

thanks in advanced. biggrin.gif

Try out either Tantrum Hotshot 858 or the Edgesaber 108.

Am currently using the Tantrum as my second racket. Light but with smashing power. flex.gif

Hi Owen,

Return buyer here. biggrin.gif

What's the price for the Yonex AT500 (without the free grip)? Is the free Yonex bag a single-racket bag?

Please let me know.

Thanx in advance. notworthy.gif

Thanx zhensheng for replying.

Another question about the AT500: is the size 3UG5, 3UG4 or 4UG5?

Is the color scheme for the AT500 black and silver?

Thanx in advance. notworthy.gif
