Thinking for quite sometime already but i really do not understand what the forum is saying... What do i look in a Wii so that i would not be cheated??

well, if ur not gonna get it from Yik Foong i'm not sure if there's any other option in Ipoh.

the last time i went to Yik Foong around 5 months back they quoted around the same price. They did offer 2 versions of the Wii back then though, the Jap version which is cheaper and the other version.

Which shop u getting it from?

One thing is that its next Gen console which has motion sensor ... which is way cool... futher more i love Dragon Ball Z... hahaha...

Don't worry, i am also tempted by the sameway.

But on another note, a new DBZ game on the waw (DBZ Burst Limit) is coming to PS3 and Xbox 360. but i think you would also love to have budokai tenkaichi on your wii. hehe.

Wii won't dissapoint you if you really wanna play games differently. A lot of people are satisfied. And the US version you're planning to buy will get u a Wii Sports game, compilation of sports games that focuses on using the remote and nunchunk.

What if Japnese version? what does it come with? The programme would be in JAPANESE?

For me i would like to get it before CNY as i have a lot of family members coming and i can play with them...

You seem to know a lot about Wii... you own one??

The Japanese version doesn't have Wii Sports, which is a really good party game for a lot of people. And the language will be in Japanese lah. that would be a bum if you want to download more things for your Wii. (Like new channels, old games and so on.)

Actually, i don't own a Wii. Ironic eh? But i am getting it next year on october. And if your focus is on playing with your family members, i suggest a bunch of party games (which the Wii is excellent on).

Head on down the to Nintendo subforum and check some other things to know in the faq.

One last thing about the US version, you're gonna need a stepdown converter. Why? the voltage at US is different than in Malaysia. its much like the Adapter that we used to buy for the PS2 in the past. hehe.

1200 can buy an adequate powered gaming PC loh. Not to mention Xbox360 costs about the same price with 100x graphic power. I thought Wii is supposed to be affordable gaming?

haha. You could say that is for affordable gaming. But playing games by moving your hands is pretty fun too.

And 360, takut kena RROD lah...

got Xbox 360 in Ipoh at Yik Foong, but the sales people not so pro le.

but then again, what u expect? its Ipoh. I was surprise to see shops selling 'next-gen' consoles.
