Hi all

I want to free my computer resources as much as possible , so one of the way to do it is to disable the unnecessary application at startup.

My dell inspiron 1520 is newly purchased , and i saw the defender , there are plenty of application running there.

So , what can i disabled? ( There are the touchpad and mouse application running , if i disable it , will my keyboard a,d touchpad and mouse malfunction? )

Thanks in advance

You can disable the Synaptics touchpad driver and use the default ones but it won't save much memory and you will lose the scrolling function.

Post up a Hijack log for everyone to analyse.

Ok , i disabled AR speed launcher , and dell update. Will take your advice , disable more.

Anyway , if i disable cyberlink , means i cant start up the Media Direct?

And just to tell you , after disable some useless function ( Mostly dell app ) , my ram usage drop from 50 % to current 30 % , what a joy biggrin.gif , hopefully can make it 2X %
