Has anyone of you tried copying and pasting the whole game folder into a vista machine from an XP machine and run the game successfully?
Or do I have to go through the painful installation process?

I've always kept all my games on a different partition and WoW runs fine without a fresh install whenever I format and even when I made the change to Vista.
