Hi,
Anyone could tell me whether if the loan is settled by lump sum, the admin charges (interests) could be exempted?
Thank you.

Hi,
Ok, let me elaborate. The loan repayment started since a few years back. Repayment did not go according to schedule and the 3% is charged based on outstanding balance. Till now, the outstanding balance has exceeded the total scheduled repayment amount. If lump sum payment is made, could one request to settle only the amount borrowed without the admin charge? Thank you. |

QUOTE(Ken @ Aug 6 2009, 01:30 PM) i thought the admin charge is calculated as below. Hi,let said at january, the outstanding balance is RM20k. then 3% is interest ... so 20,000 x 3 / 100 = 600 then 600 / 12 = 50 ... so every month, the rm50 is the admin charge aka interest ? Yes, you are right. It is calculated based on the outstanding amount. But what is the outstanding amount at the end of the year if you do not make any repayment in the year? RM20000 or RM20600? Thank you. |
