As long as u pay any amount yearly then i think should be ok. Just to keep ur account active, then they wont bar u from going oversea. But of cos if possible pay regularly, dont hope for rebate or discount as 1 of my fren did not pay for 5-6 yrs, suddenly get warning letter. By then, his interest alone had accumulated till 5k+. Not worth it

why rush to paid all?

pay according to schedule will do.

extra $$ invest elsewhere
*
Nope. Not really rushing. Maybe personal preference. Plan to clear study loan and car loan at the same time (next yr) =p
I do allocate certain amount of money into investment.

My objective is to achieve less loans or burdens.........I have settled my study loans and i am planning to settle my year 2010 new car loans hopefully in 2 years time...

Then by all means i get properties.....

btw, i will POST my surat pelepasan here when i received it....

Same thinking. But as for car loan, i will pay according to schedule. (Settle by next year)
