NATIONAL Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) borrowers who are already making repayments through salary deductions or direct debits are also eligible for the 10% discount given in Budget 2022.

In a statement on Oct 30, PTPTN said these borrowers, together with new ones who also register for repayment via the two methods, would enjoy the discount for their payments between Nov 1 and April 30.

“The discount incentive will be updated in the borrowers’ loan accounts at the end of each month and the borrowers can view their statements from the 7th of the following month,” it added.

Just to share an update, the direct debit for this month has been reflected in my detailed statement but 10% discount is not reflected so I called PTPTN.
The officer said the 10% rebate will only be reflected at the end of the month after penyelarasan
