Feel quite sad.

Today I went to EPF to withdraw money from account 2 to PAY BACK PTPTN. However, I am not eligible since it only allow those who signed agreement with PTPTN from year 2001 onwards. Really sad. I signed my agreement in 1999.

Want to pay also cannot pay. Apalah.

ur EPF sitting there earning more dividend compare to that 3% interest...
i don't think is worth the hassle

if blacklisted by immigration, u can skip the vacation in other countries~
cause once blacklisted, u cant even board the plane~

if vacation in other state i still not sure~

this will be really inconvenient for work that requires travelling out of the country. forget about getting chances for oversea training as well.

Can do settlement via online bank in. Best is call in and speak to an officer, they will calculate the final figure with 20% deduction for you.

just to share.

my brother didn't complete his diploma, so he didn't know when he should start paying. Due to his 'tidak apa' attitude when he finally received a letter from ptptn, it stated there was an outstanding of 2k. I don't know why there isn't letter to ask him start paying in the first place.

Anyway, he make RM100 per month just to keep ptptn off his back (at that time he is not blacklisted yet). Finally this month, he double check on his status before flying (thank God), he was blacklisted. I must say PTPTN is getting efficient.

Settled my loan back in Nov 2016... but last week I received an sms saying that I still have overpaid & they will return some amount to me. The amount isn't disclosed.

Took them that long eh?

Lol. Same as me. I settled payment almost 3 years ago. I remember they owe me the rebates, but i lazy to chase. Now suddenly receive email. Better than nothing la.
