I'm not sure if people know about it. We can check the pegawai contact number and email by entering our IC number at below page.

They will send you a release letter later signifying that you have no longer pending debt or outstanding with PTPTN.

Hi, I submitted my application for exemption of repayment since last year.
I think around December 2014 or January 2015 I got a call from a lady from PTPTN, saying that my application got some problem because the course that I applied (Accounting and Finance) is different in their system (Accounting).
But in the end she said she will help me to change it into Accounting and Finance. Until then, no more news about PTPTN.

Today, I received a letter to ask me to repay my loan, and my repayment is already 7 months overdue = ="

Should I call them and clarify?
*
You should find back the lady who processed your extension.

Hardcore defaulters fail to repay a single sen despite lower fee scheme

KUALA LUMPUR: The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) is frustrated that hardcore defaulters continue to snub various measures to make repayment easier on their pockets.

Even its Syariah-compliant Ujrah loan repayment scheme, introduced seven years ago, has received lukewarm response from borrowers, said PTPTN marketing and strategic communications chief Mastura Mohd Khalid.

Asking on behalf of my nephew. He said that since he is under Ujrah, paying more than the scheduled monthly payment will have no effect at all since the 1% admin fee is already prorated to the balance. On the other hand, I am telling him to consider paying more.

Is my nephew correct, that it makes no difference to pay more under the Ujrah scheme?
*
Ujrah is just like hire purchase loan. The admin cost/fee is fixed and calculated upfront.

now macam they enforce all must ada. the reason is to make sure the debt will ada org bayar even though the borrower sudah tiada.

sorry if i confused you. it all in their calculation ald..

ohya, if i m not mistaken, dont know start from wat year, PTPTN offer the 1% interest loan only. automatic
*
For insurance fee/charge, actually the amount differs every month. The number is too small to spot. Perhaps differ by 1 cents.

I think it's either 2009 or 2011. My contract is successfully converted in the year of 2011.

If we make lump sum payment to ptptn for early settlement, do they reduce the interest rate calculated in earlier for ujrah 1%?
*
It depends on how much left in the account for being converted to ujrah.
