My repayment period is 20 years. I'm fresh grad so no point for me pay extra just to finish repayment faster and suffer along the way 😅 unless Budget 2018 offer something better for full repayment

Why 10%? blink.gif
10% is for auto-debit and 15% is for full repayment.

I did direct debit. PTPTN just took money from my account, but even after one week, it still not yet reflect on my PTPTN statement online. And also it didn't reduce 10%. Anybody knows how the discount works? And how long it takes the direct-debit to reflect online in PTPTN statement? Thanks

Hi PTPTN specialists:

Which are the best credit card to repay a large sum of PTPTN outstanding loan amount?

UOB One Card? or any other card with good cash back or points?

Confused as I read in earlier posts that most credit card doesn't reward points but some cards do rewar cash back?

Thanks peeps!

Thank you. So for direct debit, lets say my total is RM10,000, they'll discount 10% (=RM1000), and it'll show up as only RM9,000 on my online statement?

I might be wrong, but I think the most cash back you can get from a single CC that has no annual fee is only RM50. If you want to pay a huge amount, your best bet is to pay it through multiple cards. For example:

- CIMB Cash Rebate: 5% cash back, capped at RM30 (also available for supplementary cards, so if you have 2 supplementary cards, you can get RM90 cash back)
- Maybank 2 Card Gold: 5% cash back (if paid on weekend, and using the AMEX card), capped at RM50
- UOB YOLO: 6% cash back (if spend at least RM800), capped at RM50
- PB Quantum Visa: 5% cash back, capped at RM30

So if you have these 4 cards + 2 supplementary cards for CIMB Cash Rebate, you can pay RM 4,233.33 and get RM220 cash back (5.2% cash back).

This is just an idea, as I've never done this. smile.gif
