But when i go back home i try read the manual and find the way to be able to type but fail. So i PM her back.

The last reply that she reply is "i check for u again ok." After that i wait for 2 day, it still no reply. I keep on PM her also same. So i wait after christmas. She also no reply.

1. Regarding the 18 months Warranty Policy by Asia Mobile, it's their new policy. Their old policy is 12 months warranty and they've extended it to 18 months. You may PM me for their contact details to verify this should you need to do so.

2. About the phone and memory card price,

The phone cost = RM680
Memory Card cost = RM40
Total = RM720

You paid deposit RM50
Balance RM720-50 = RM670

During COD
You paid me RM700 during COD
Balance I owe you RM30
I gave you RM20 back and balance RM10 via maybank2u cause I don't have sufficient balance.

3. Concerning the firmware, currently the firmware available with my supplier is not stable and they are still waiting for a better one, if you want to know more about it, you may give them a call.

I had gave you the RM20 on the spot that day, perhaps you didn't notice or what. Impossible i want to cheat you for only RM10 right? For me that's not a big amount.

From the first quote, I guess the misunderstanding is user said "support chinese", didn't specify "able to type chinese".

It's true Asia Mobile is giving 18 months warranty
AP sets sometimes may have foreign telco's tatoo (in your case the Telstra)

So the problem now is just the chinese firmware & the balance money....

is a common sense when people say support chinese, that's mean able to type chinese language as well.

i duno i right or wrong for the balance.. maybe i wrong.. or maybe she wrong..

because on that day when she giving me the balance.. she wanted to giv me rm20. But she short or rm1 or rm2(not remember).. so i called she later bank me in back the balance.. then when she calculate.. she wrote the 680+40=730. If can find back the paper she wrote on.. then can prove i see wrong or right.

Then when i walk back i keep count and think. Then i think it was like wrong amount..

nvm.. about balance it my wrong coz not make clear on the spot.. doh.gif

You can't simply assume that Clareen understood what you wanted. Support Chinese can mean that you're able to read Chinese sms or surf Chinese websites but not being able to type in Chinese. Next time, mention this clearly before dealing with her. It's not her fault at all. You can't assume that if others can type in Chinese, your phone will be able to do so unless of them bought from Clareen.

The main reason people ask whether it support chinese or not is because they want to type in chinese AFAIK.

In law, there is an implied term, where in this case, if support chinese, it means it may be able to type in chinese as well.

I see from earlier post that it cannot be flashed to type chinese, is that so? Or the warranty provider do not have the firmware?

From my research there is two version of firmware..

R26117LD = Asian
R26111VL = Euro/Australia

Mine currently fall in R26111VL version..

If flash from LD to VL it will cause a brick or vice versa.. however there is someone able to do so.

You can flash it to Asian firmware according to the Moto forums but don't attempt it yourself, bring your phone to a mobile clinic that offers flashing services. However, do take note that this might void your warranty so if it by all means fine with you, just go ahead but this time, it's not Clareen's fault if you void the warranty yourself or a simple solution, sell the phone and get another one with Asian firmware.

I guess you should mention able to read and type Chinese in the future when you wish to buy a handphone, use layman terms to avoid confusion or misunderstanding, don't always assume that the seller has the same wavelength as you do.
