Hi guys,

I just bought an N82 last nite. Must say the phone looks sexy. Like it so much. Toying with it till 5am last nite. Haha..

Havin problems setting up the access points though. Im a maxis user and i only get the settings via sms. But unfortunately N82 is not in the list. Is there any kind soul here who would help a brother out by guiding me in setting it up.

I sound so stupid by making this request. But i'll try not to be so dependant and learn up. Thanks guys.

Regards.

Thanks for the fast replies. You guys really are enthusiasts. Hehe.. Actually mine is an AP set. The vendor solved the problem for me already. Kenot tahan went to his shop just now. Apparently its some settings used by other providers which maxis does not support. Dont ask me wat as im oso blur. rclxub.gif Anyway problem solved.

Just tried the Garmin Xt and it worked flawlessly. But after a couple of minutes use my phone did a soft reset. Anyone experienced that before? Not a big deal but jus want to know. Anyway this phone Roxxx man. Over and out.

is tt u initial attempt to get a lock after u get a phone? da time during initial first lock would be a bit longer....try to get ur gps lock in an open environment n not in ur hse.....n also remember to enable A-GPS function as it would help to reduced da locking time (network charged)....

Does the A-GPS function applies to Nokia Maps only or can it be activated if im using GMXT? Jus wanted to reduce the lock on time whenever possible. Noticed today when the sky is exceptionally cloudy that the device cant lock-on even after more than 10mins. Has anyone encountered this before? I know u'll have problems in a building but open skies just dark clouds above and yet cant lock on. unsure.gif Later tried again at the same area when sky is clear, lock on within 2 mins. Weird man.

Just contributed some POI's to Malsing. Hope to get the unlock codes soon. Cant wait. Anyone with the Dec updated maps yet. Is ther a significant difference between the june and dec maps rclxm9.gif

I'd rather got for Invincible shield, although they are even more expensive than MFSP, they offer full body protecting, with super quality material. Quality vs Price wise, Invincible Shield is a cheaper solution.

Just my opinion, though. smile.gif

Where do you get that? Im interested if it'll offer more protection. I have a knack for dropping my phone. Have always happened to me. Almost all my phone have been involved in some major accident. blush.gif

The protector won't protect the phone from dropping, but it'll offer excellent scratch proof and excellent durability. Visit http://www.shieldzone.com/ and ready to be impressed. However, you may or may not like the idea of spraying some liquid (as adhesive) on the protector before application. hmm.gif

I know it'll not help much against dropping. Just scratch proofing would be enough protection for me. Thanks for the link. biggrin.gif
