hmmm.. like dat in terms of gps, PDA built in is better. AGPS on HP6965 only download once every 3 days, GPRS or wifi. D810 doesnt use AGPS, hence still lock at least 5 satellites minimum within 10 seconds stationary, 30sec on motion.

i only talk abt gps ah.. not other function.

newkid, no doubt i wouldnt say 6965 agps is better, but what i meant is the behind which i can use either wifi or gprs, more to price wise. and as for the speed to fix, it takes not more than 15 sec to lock (stationary) and around 30-45 during motion after the AGPS is updated.
Again for D810, i was only referring to the speed without using AGPS.

from your chart, you said if the loose fix, n82 will use Agps to fix position again. so what i say is AGPS in 6965 will save cost abit.. bcoz it only download if the agps data is expired.

12gb? thats an odd number for memory. shouldnt it be 16gb? dont usually they double up like 1gb->2gb->4gb->8gb->16gb?

anyway how much would it be for a "12gb" if release?

Geo-tagging for Nokia N82 is just around the corner
22 Feb, 2008 | Comments (8) | Post your comment

It seems that geo-tagging capabilities aren't reserved only for the most recently announced Nokia handsets. The users of the Nokia N82 will be able to enjoy this feature as early as the first quarter of the year. This was promised when the phone was announced and it seems that the promise will be kept.

According to the S60 multimedia blog the geo-tagging will be one of the benefits the new firmware for the phone will bring. At this stage there is no information about the other extras will be but as our experience shows these firmware updates are always welcome.

If you do not want to wait for another month to use the geo-tagging there is already a solution for you. A beta application is available for download from the Nokia Beta Labs website. It is called Nokia Location Tagger and you can download it here.

The Nokia Location Tagger application is successfully tested for compatibility with Nokia N95, N95 8GB, N82, E90 and N73. However there is a good chance that it will be compatible with any S60 3rd edition device.

been using the geo tagging app since the beta came out kind of interesting if u go for holiday, downside is u have to wait for the GPS signal to connect first most probably 3 to 5 minutes before u can take pic for tagging.

ah... i have yet to test with geo tagging... basically i dont even know what it is about. tongue.gif and i am not n82 owner yet

Nokia's N82 wins Best Imaging Device award    [ 24-04-2008 16:13 ]

Nokia's N82 has proven itself to be a great camera phone time and time again, combining a good five megapixel camera, with an xenon flash to boot. So, it should be no surprise that it has won the best mobile imaging device from Technical Image Press Association. This isn't the first time Nokia has won the award - they won it last year with the N95, and the N80 the year before that.
