QUOTE(wr6969 @ Jan 2 2008, 06:58 PM) You have to install the Pen+C emulator for the N82. yeah, even though i eventually found out about it myself but thanks alot of the info still Get it here. It's unsigned, so you need to sign it in order to be able to install it. But I guess you already know that, since you've already installed the Nokmote Beta on your phone Just as a side note, i also used the very same creator's RotateMe v2 which was originally intended for N95. IMO it worked so much better and more responsive than the built in automatic rotation feature which is sometimes too dumb to detect that i have already rotated the phone. anyway for N82 user out there, u can try the NokMote but you will need the Pen+C button emulator to activate the function as posted by wr6969 above. I have uploaded it into another server. -Removed- http://www.mediafire.com/?8nzv1xzyhmx Oh yes, you will need to sign both the file P/S - Rapidshare and Megaupload sucks! QUOTE(wr6969 @ Jan 2 2008, 08:00 PM) I don't want to rain on your parade, gzero, but samir, the author, specifically requested that this version not be released to the public. It was only distributed to people who donated to him. He's in the process of requesting for formal certification from symbiansigned.com so that he can release a public version. I understand what are you saying here, but the software was meant to be a freeware in the future anyway isnt it? It's just a matter of time before it was released. Actually i have considered about this earlier, if it was a cr@.ck software, i wouldn't have posted it so openly. Anyway, i am sure you did not get it through donation, did you? Edit : Oi! Remove the link in your quote as well This post has been edited by gzero: Jan 2 2008, 08:07 PM |

Can anyone here tell me more about the A-GPS work? Will it keep on using our GSM or 3G to send out cordination and apply charges into our phone bill?
I came to know from a friend of mine that the A-GPS will use our connectivity (such as 3G, 3.5G, GPRS) to check our cordination. So, need clarification on this. Thank you. |

QUOTE(dzi921 @ Jan 2 2008, 01:12 PM) I have tried it. Mapking software is better than garmin but map wise malsing is better and malsing don't support mapking for symbian yet. So too bad for mapking Hi dzi921,I've tried MapKing from my friend's PDA GPS before, I'm wondering, how do I point a location on screen to be the destination as 82 does not have touchscreen? I like MapKing due to the detailed building labeling (I know it won't make MUCH of a difference while driving due to the small screen, but still I'm torn between mapking and malsing. |

QUOTE(mstr583 @ Jan 3 2008, 11:01 AM) Thakn you for the replied. ANyway, is this mean , everytime when it re-located or user move away from the point it started, then it will send a 8KB data to the server and we will be charge for it? This mean, if we turn it on for locating a 10KM distance from the start point, we will be charge, for examaple, A-GPS will send a signal out at every 100m, means that will be 100 times signal send out? If every signal send is 8KB, that means it will be 8MB data sent? Thank you. |
