Meaning I don't overwrite the gmapsup.img? Added on January 28, 2008, 5:17 pmQUOTE(gzero @ Jan 28 2008, 04:48 PM) I did, 4GB Sandisk SDHC, no problem running so far No performance degradation nor any lags observed as well. How much is the 4GB SDHC? This post has been edited by icecarpediem: Jan 28 2008, 05:17 PM

Hmmm.... is it available in Malaysia? honda map? What's the difference? malsing maps can't search by address right? I hope to get mapking as I find it very user friendly and easy to search for places. I used it on my friend's HP GPS enabled smartphone. Apparently there is a symbian version. So for those who happen to have a version of it along with the symbian compatible map of malaysia, do share This post has been edited by icecarpediem: Jan 28 2008, 05:39 PM

QUOTE(enfenete @ Jan 28 2008, 09:01 PM) Actually the len are free from dust (crystall clear). Bad luck to me snap not more than 100++ photo from the day i bought last two week. Randomlly snap 10++ low lighting and nearly 5 to 6 with bubble mark, some are not so obvious. Oh, what I meant was dust floating outside of your phone Not dust inside your phone lens

Say... since N82 is a smartphone, it should be compatible with Outlook right? So say... can I sync my contacts, calender and task to outlook from my SE K810 then sync the data into the N82? Do let me know ya Added on January 31, 2008, 5:20 pmBTW, I'm running Vista... any issues with it? This post has been edited by icecarpediem: Jan 31 2008, 05:20 PM

Yeah, the K810 can sync with outlook no problem. So just wondering if I can transfer it directly into N82 I'm very lazy to key in 1 by 1

QUOTE(cheeleong @ Feb 1 2008, 01:07 AM) Ok I uploaded the video file.. here's the link http://rapidshare.com/files/88110169/02012007004.mp4.htmlMy video recording setting is -TV High quality -stable on -audio recording on -memory in use => phone memory now.. you guys tell me is this video laggy or not.. or i'm just expecting too much from this phone? i spotted the lag around 0:15 to 0:16 sec of the video while playing using computer.. the lag is more obvious when i'm turning the camera slowly.. if i play this video on my phone, more lag here and there.. u can try to put this video into your phone. Woah... good quality... well.. given that I'm used to 10-15fps CIF video recording... this is GOOD Added on February 1, 2008, 9:59 ammy guess it is MP4 encoding issues. When I was using the Samsung E720 and the video recording was in MP4 also at 20fps, same issue happens. Surprisingly my K810 with modded camera driver to record at 25fps and in 3GP format, it doesn't happen... but quality sucks big time. This post has been edited by icecarpediem: Feb 1 2008, 09:59 AM

and as the environment gets darker, the camera allows for more light in, which makes FPS drops... well at least I observe this on Samsung mobile and K810 even though for the K810 it is not much

Got my N82 last night... however got problem after I got home and tinker with it more. The 2GB memory card, could not be detected on the phone and also on my computer... I'm guessing it is Kaput. Anyone experience this issue with transflash memory cards? I've never used transflash before, only M2 cards. Are they that fragile????

Nokia's are complicated phones to use Need so many steps to use music player also I did experience the phone suddenly restarting, just once, but meh... only 1 day using it Other then that... seems pretty good... installed Garmin, yet to test run it though.. in office now.. no satellite connection obviously Will the firmware update solve the restarting issue?

QUOTE(piku @ Feb 6 2008, 01:42 AM) Hi there, I am at the last step of Garmin Installation as per the directions in page 1. 18) From the program, Goto Settings -> System -> Remote GPS -> Select 'Use Attached/Built-in GPS' -> Enable -> Done I dont have the option to select "use Attached/build in GPS" : ( Can anyone kindly assist? thanks Strange... I just installed Garmin yesterday and all is well. I saw the option... it is exactly at where the instructions said it would be at. Which version are you using? I'm running 41060. And on Garmin and Malsing maps, do you all have issues with names of places? like 1 Utama is called 1 U and so on? Any fix for it?

Well.. from my experience, the N82 GPS is pretty fast. Yesterday after heavy rain with cloudy sky I got a lock-on in about 2 minutes. Today I tried with clear skies I got lock-on in about 5 seconds. Since I'm using Garmin on my N82 anyway... so Wanting to try MapKing for symbian though.

QUOTE(cute_boboi @ Feb 6 2008, 02:18 PM) Can use v2.15, but must be gmapsuppMXT version, IINM. v2.20 cannot use yet, as per dzi921 info. I'm not sure which v2.15 version you are using. I'm using the normal one. So I guess that's why. Where to get the gmapsuppMXT version for v2.15 a? Any idea?

QUOTE(cute_boboi @ Feb 6 2008, 06:06 PM) Pls go back to page 1, read the step-by-step from dzi921 carefully. Better to PM him for FULL instructions. There are some steps not listed due to *ahem* LYN policy... I was using the initial gmapsuppMXT file. But that is June map, which is not updated. So I tried 2.15 and had all the abbreviation issues. The Honda map has got no abbreviation problems, but the map is not detailed and missing lots of POIs. I wonder if the 2.15 has got a MXT supported format.
