Erm.. Do you guys know where can I buy chess sets?
Those with a wooden board, or leather ones, like the chess sets used in tournaments? Whats the price that i should expect? |

U can actually get it from Toy R' Us. If I'm not mistaken they have something like a glass type 1 and also those funny funny toy figure chess set... Or can try any other mini/super/hyper markets. They should hav it. I might have seen it in MPH, cant recall. Well the price is about RM 20 onwards to few hundreds depending on the quality.

my boss ask me where he can buy a classic wooden chess set... not the cheap one, but real wood maybe like jati type... and have a classic look soldier/king/queen/bishop etc...
so it should be heavy... |

I recently came back from hong kong and I saw a lot of those china made chess set where all the pieces were made from ceramic in 3D model. Looks very nice and classical. I just bought a Chinese Chess at HKD280 (around RM135) and very satisfied with it. Suitable for a memorable match like having a match with your elders :-)
