I have a 17 inch flat CRT. Brand is LG. Model : T710SH

The monitor would turn yellow colour at times. Its like somebody applied a yellow colour tint on the screen.

I've already checked and confirmed that its the CRT problem.
I've changed graphics card, used it on another pc, changed the power cable, and yet the problem still persist.

And I've found a temporary soluton to this, if I give the CRT a gentle nudge on the left side, the screen will turn back to normal.
(I've heard of this solution from somewhere else long time ago, but I cant remember where)
But in another 30 minutes or so, the problem comes back.

I doubted the VGA connection port, but after testing it, i dont think the problem comes from there.
I've tried to replug the connection, move the cable a bit, and even 'massage' the cable, but the problem still stayed.

Warranty is long over. This monitor is three years old.

Have anyone experienced this before?
Can u help?

P.S. - Please do not suggest me to buy a new monitor. Let me try to solve this first.

anyone knows how much will it cost, if i send this monitor back to LG for repair?

After u gave the monitor a nudge, did the problem came back afterwards?
Or your monitor is already ok now?

Try giving your monitor a firm but gentle nudge on the sides.
Tell us what is the outcome,

i dont on my monitor 24 hrs, only about 10 hrs a day.

and ive tried to give it a nudge, it solves the prob temporarily,
but after 30 mins, the problem comes back.
