ic, hrmm...I wonder if the MB BIOS itself could be causing the problem. Coz I put the voltage settings to AUTO, could it be over-volting the NB? That wold couse it to over-heat, right? Don't know if this Asus AI OC thing is causing problems....

haha let me try ur proc @ my pc, since we live @ da same place..lol
my XP.. my NB chipset temp higher than my CPU.
so i change NB heatsink + fan blower, but urs..a bit dificult la.

for me
overheat only cause hang, BSOD, C2D mean ur system not stable
