I would drop off from the Asus P5K. Doesn't really justify its price. If you are really looking for one that is best bang for buck, should be looking at either Gigabyte DS3 (P35 chipset) or the Biostar TD35 (P35 Chipset). Both of these mobo should be cheaper than your budget and are reliable.. smile.gif

If you're not overclocking, then the P35-DS3 is my recommendation. I'm using it without any problems and it is a good overclocker too. See my sig....

Last I heard, it was selling for around rm380....

Note : Recent news indicate that current P35 mobos (with 4 layer PCB) might have compatibility problems with Intel's Penryn (if you're planning to upgrade to penryn in the future). Look at the thread in the main hardware section.

So, you can give GA-P35-DS3 a try. since you just want to change mobo only. tongue.gif

What bout for OCing purpose.

I'm thinking of Foxconn MARS or DFI DK P35 T2R.

Mars got 6 layers PCB at RM699

Like the board layout and colour scheme of DFI but 4 layers PCB and less accessory at RM600
