Just wondering, how do u guys change the file/folder icons? I checked out the Help Section but I'm not able to select 'Copy' as per instructions.
What am I doing wrong? Or, could it be that I downloaded a set of icons which needs a 3rd party application to open? Can someone help me puhlleeeasse?! *grins*

Icons downloaded should appear in Finder as pictures, click on it, copy and paste it to the item you want to use the icon on. To do that, go to the item you want to use the icon on, right click, then "Get Info", a info window will appear with the icon on the top portion. Click on the icon and paste.
To return to the original icon, again "Get Info", click on the icon and press Backspace.
Ps: Copy's shortcut "Cmd-C", Paste's Shortcut "Cmd-V"

Drag the icon off the dock then add it again to the dock. It will then reflect the new icon in the dock.

@kwekeugene, Got that one figured out *grins* but thanks anyways.
And now, assuming if I want to change ALL the folder icons to the same one, do I need to do it one by one or is there a short-cut?

@allvin, And thus, that would mean doing it one by one? *grins* or forking out the $ for the software -Added- You can use the application 'LiteIcon' if u want to change ALL the icons This post has been edited by tinkerbel: Mar 27 2008, 10:30 AM
