Have to take a gamble that for the next quarter, the milk will be replaced already. Hopefully, VT has heard the story about the goose that lay the golden egg. The moral is that a dead cow gives no milk biggrin.gif

VT sold quite a number of Golden Goose.

DIGI and Prudential Insurance are some examples.

Apparently not keeping many cash cows in his group.

The fact is when he sold, it was cash sink, than he sold, people make it to cash cow!!!

like digi, he sold to telenor, people turnaorund and make good money.

Than he see can make money than he start U-mobile, bring in Korea and Japan -- Big Name. than the korean and japan left the U-mobile, he go ask his fren, the boss of magnum to join.

May be they sud merge Magnum, toto and U-mobile, so every one can buy number from handphone, kakakakkakakakaka

Added on January 10, 2010, 10:47 pmBut in term of cash management, VT did a good job for BJTOTO, at least he share the cash with the minority

hard??? it is impossible lar

Telenor is one of the world (THE WORLD) best manage telco....

Telenor can do it coz it got the hardware ( the tower, the infra), and the got the know how, so they can break the duopoly to tripoly

for U-mobile to breake it and make a 4-poly, dun think U-mobile can make it, first U mobile is ridding on virtue network, second now the focus is on data dy. u still wanna build ur voice ........

Telecom is highly specialised business u need technical and commercial, u see the DOCOMO and the Korea (big name but forgot the name liau) oso say sayonara to U-mobile dy.....

TIME and TdC which is back by Khazanah oso cannot......

Just sell the U-mobile to Tony and use the money to buy over all the Ho Hup land in Bukit Jalil and make Bukit Jalil the next property hot spot....... sound more compelling lar ...... kakakakkakaka

May i ask a dump question. Lots of you seem to be sifus here. For a beginner like me, how and where should i look up for information pertaining to some potential and cheap shares?

Just feeling lost, and dont wanna just be a follower, following what others buy without doing proper research.

Thanks.

Not all BChip are expensive, try GENM & YTLPWR, 2.89 & 2.20 still below 3.00.
Still very much affordable right ?

FA = Fundamental Analysis.

Special Single Tier 75¢ TE 20-Nov-09 07-Dec-09 09-Dec-09 17-Dec-09 124¢ 188¢

Interim 49¢ single tier TE 22-Jul-09 01-Sep-09 03-Sep-09 18-Sep-09 49¢ 188¢

Final single tier 53¢ TE 07-May-09 03-Jun-09 05-Jun-09 12-Jun-09 188¢ 227.75¢

So, if my average purchase price for DIGI is RM21 and I have 10 lot, what will be the ROI% of the year og 2009 dividend?
