My wife is a cancer a patient and she is fighting this bloody cancer for 14 years. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1997 successfully treated but relapsed again in 2009 successfully treated and relapse again in 2010 successfully treated but unfortunately relapsed again 2011 and we are fighting very hard now. The cancer is now relapse to her backbone. The bone scan showed that her T1,T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, T8, C5 AND RIB8 are all infected with the bloody cells.

All the while she was treated at National Cancer Society (NCS) under the care of Dr Tan Meng Kuan (The Specialist Onclogy) at Tong Shin Hospital, KL. But now I have moved her Hospital Kuala Lumpur and do not know if this time is going to be successful again.

The reason being that after discussion with some medical friends we concluded that at NCS the focus is just CANCER and attention to other side effects is not available like the Neurology, Paythology and so on. Especially the depression part.

The cost at HKL definitely much cheaper but due to many patients the service is not that great as compared to DSH or Tong Shin. My cost has easily reached over RM60,000 since 1997 but fortunately she is covered by insurance of her employer.
