Bad news for me. My 58 year old dad just got the report from Assunta Hospital. He has colorectal cancer, about where his rectum is. He has been having constipation and diarrhea for the past 6 months, and never checked with the doctors about it. Now it's discovered that the cancer is a fast spreading one.. sigh.

2nd visit to the hospital this Saturday, to meet the surgeon, prolly to determine whether or not to have the tumor removed.

Is it going to be expensive? Should I opt for chemotherapy for him after the surgery?

Hi, aiseh, same here. Now he's undergoing chemo & radiation. But he had a surgery before this, a stoma for easier waste output.

He is alright currently. How bout your dad?
