QUOTE(harihari @ Jan 19 2011, 11:55 AM) Bad news for me. My 58 year old dad just got the report from Assunta Hospital. He has colorectal cancer, about where his rectum is. He has been having constipation and diarrhea for the past 6 months, and never checked with the doctors about it. Now it's discovered that the cancer is a fast spreading one.. sigh. 2nd visit to the hospital this Saturday, to meet the surgeon, prolly to determine whether or not to have the tumor removed. Is it going to be expensive? Should I opt for chemotherapy for him after the surgery? Hi there, my dad got that too. Was diagnosed 2 months ago. Has been suffering blood in stool since june. Diagnosed in December. He is now undergoing chemo before surgery How is your dad doing now?

My father passed away 2 months after removing tumor in 2011. It was only stage 2, going to stage 3. We never thought that he's going to leave as doctor said the operation was successful. But going through it wasn't easy.
It still hurts when thinking about it.
During those time, there was a trend for curing cancer, it's an enzymes, and it cures a lot of cancer. You can home-made it. But, my advice is, do not try any of these enzymes, especially home-made. Because you can't guarantee you're doing it correctly. Someone (who's having breast cancer) told my father how good it is, my father tried before going for operation. But after operation, we advice him to stop. That aunty totally stop chemo and just rely on this enzyme. She is now suffering from last stage of cancer. So, that's my story.

Yes, always trust your doctor. Don't stress yourself, even tho' it's not easy to go through, but family love really does cure. And don't pandai-pandai make yourself a doctor
