hi,guys,after some research on the forum,i get a HDMI-DVI cable for myself to get my PS3 connect to my dell 20 inch monitor,everything go smooth for a few weeks,can get a 720p resolution...then today,my nightmare came, when i turn on the ps3,theres no display signal on my monitor,and i try a few times,and it's still the same.it just sked me tat izzit my PS3 get burn? after that,i tried to switch my cable back to composite cable and connect to a normal TV,and it come back to normal on tv,just i connect with the cable to the LCD,it wont work,i would like to ask,anyone with this kind of problem before?? is it my cable got problem?? im very sure tat my lcd monitor no problem at all,i use it on my laptop. i just afraid either my HDMI port problem or my calbe,or is it the software setting??anyone can help me out with this??thank you (sorry for my poor english)

The factory reset is probably what you need to try next. Hold down the power button (with the back power switch in the on position) for 10+ seconds till you hear multiple beeps. Once the reset is done, when you power up, the ps3 should auto-detect the HDMI connection.
