I think currently Palit Sonic edition is the best value with good cooler + memory heatsink + nice price @ rm825 thundermatch.

Just test my Palit 8800gt Sonic with benchmarks and games.
test at Factory OC(650/1900) fan speed 60% idle - 53C Max peak at load - 65C Seriously no issue for 8800gt heat problem. My previous Asus 8800gts 320mb even idle at 62C and load at 80C with fan speed 100% I think this card is the best price/performance ratio currently. |

QUOTE(zamanjaafar @ Jan 17 2008, 12:22 AM) @toro86 the price in thundermatch lowyat is rm825,so i discount a bit to rm820 and free parking 1 hour.Seriously cheaper than other retails.the rm820 is pricelist price or discounted a bit? As this card is sold at minimum rm855 in bulk and much higher few weeks ago. QUOTE(shakir99 @ Jan 17 2008, 05:14 AM) hehe, nice buy toro86 Sure, now got no issue with it.Yesterday testing OC to 720/2050 shader clock 1625>1720 using stock cooler only, Max temp when running 3d mark is 68C. im planning on buying the Palit 8800GT as well...most probably in a few weeks, wen the price comes down... its got awesome performance for the price we pay... if any issues with it, let me knw aite...tnx man! Plan to OC further to test the potential of this card. Will let u know if got any issue. This post has been edited by toro86: Jan 17 2008, 12:11 PM |

And for more info,Viewnet is selling inno3d 8800gt for rm799,but using stock cooler only.
Thundermatch is also selling MSI 8800gt OC (660/1900) at rm830 after discount, this one is new version, using red PCB and modified cooler, but i still pick PALIT Sonic edition over this, coz PALIT cooler seems more promising. This post has been edited by toro86: Jan 18 2008, 02:54 AM |
