I think currently Palit Sonic edition is the best value with good cooler + memory heatsink + nice price @ rm825 thundermatch.

Just test my Palit 8800gt Sonic with benchmarks and games.

test at Factory OC(650/1900) fan speed 60%
idle - 53C
Max peak at load - 65C thumbup.gif

Seriously no issue for 8800gt heat problem.My previous Asus 8800gts 320mb even idle at 62C and load at 80C with fan speed 100% shakehead.gif

I think this card is the best price/performance ratio currently.

@toro86

the rm820 is pricelist price or discounted a bit?  As this card is sold at minimum rm855 in bulk and much higher few weeks ago.

the price in thundermatch lowyat is rm825,so i discount a bit to rm820 and free parking 1 hour.Seriously cheaper than other retails.

And for more info,Viewnet is selling inno3d 8800gt for rm799,but using stock cooler only.

Thundermatch is also selling MSI 8800gt OC (660/1900) at rm830 after discount,this one is new version,using red PCB and modified cooler,but i still pick PALIT Sonic edition over this,coz PALIT cooler seems more promising. icon_rolleyes.gif
